For Artists: Become a Fig & Trellis Designer

Fig & Trellis is a Christian wallpaper company, and we would love to print your Christian designs on walls across America. If you create patterns that celebrate scripture, the cross, creation, church life or the Christian home, apply below. We print and ship every order, and you earn a royalty on every sale.

How it works

1. Apply. Send us a link to your portfolio and tell us about the designs you would like to submit.
2. We review. We read every application. If it is a fit, we will invite you to send your design files.
3. Proof. We prepare a proof (and a printed sample if needed) so you can check the colors and scale before anything goes on sale.
4. We list it. Your design appears in our shop in every color you approve, as paste-the-wall rolls and peel-and-stick panels. We set the retail price.
5. We print on demand. Each order is printed to order, as 27 ft rolls or peel-and-stick panels, and shipped across the United States.
6. You get paid. Royalties are paid monthly.

What you earn

You earn 10% of the retail price the customer pays, after any discounts or promotions. Your royalty is never calculated on a discount larger than 50%, so even a heavily discounted order still pays you.

When your monthly sales grow, so does your rate. The bonus applies to all of that month's sales of your designs:

• Your own orders: you get 10% off anything printed with your own designs.
• Payouts: monthly by PayPal once your balance reaches $10. Smaller balances roll forward.
• Returns and refunds: no royalty is paid on an order that is refunded.
• Taxes: royalties are income. We will ask for your tax details (a W-9 for US artists) before your first payout.

What we are looking for

• Christian designs only. We only sell Christian wallpaper, so every design needs to be rooted in scripture, Christian symbols, the church year, creation or the stories of our faith.
• Original work you own. Please do not submit anything that uses someone else's artwork, photographs, fonts, characters or trademarks without a license.
• Seamless repeats that look good at wall scale, in colorways that suit real rooms.
• Be upfront about how it is made. If you used AI tools at any stage, tell us in your application. You still need to hold the rights to what you submit.
• Reverent and family-friendly. We will decline designs that are hateful, mocking or inappropriate for a Christian shop.

Files and sizes

• A seamless repeating tile, as PNG, TIFF or high-quality JPG, in RGB.
• At least 150 dpi at the size it will print. 300 dpi is better for fine line work.
• Tell us the repeat size in inches (for example 24 in wide by 16 in tall). We print on rolls 26 inches wide, so repeats that divide neatly into that print with less waste.
• Colorways can be sent as separate files, or tell us the colors you want and we will propose them for your approval.

Your rights

You keep the copyright to your designs. You give us permission to print and sell them, and you can ask us to remove a design from the shop at any time. Selling elsewhere is fine; this is not an exclusive arrangement. The full terms are in the Artist Agreement.
